Swedens stonermetal berserkers #1, 10,000 Years, return with their eagerly awaited new album to once again pummel the world into oblivion!

Formed in 2020, 10,000 Years have since released four records, even getting nominated for a Manifest Award (swedish independent Grammys) for Best Metal. Early 2024 the band signed with american label and underground heavyweights Ripple Music which heralded the arrival of ”All Quiet On The Final Frontier”, an album that made serious waves in the scene.

The new album, titled ”Esox Lucifer”, continues to build on the songwriting and new sense of direction of the previous release, as 10,000 Years blends crushing riffage and melodic sensibilities into a sound uniquely their own. Lyrically, the album delves deep into existentialism and lore while probing the depths of space, as always heavily inspired by various works of science fiction, horror and fantasy. As such, ”Esox Lucifer” is chock full of everything that 10,000 Years has become known for; riffcentric and melodic stonermetal championed by the guitar wizardry and blistering solos of Erik Palm, the thunderous drumming of Alvin Risberg and Alex Risbergs fuzzed out bass and howling vocals.

”Esox Lucifer” presents the bands most ambitious work yet and showcases a band in full control of all their powers as it promises to expand both their legend and their fanbase.
